7th IN GOLD PRODUCTION RANKING

Brazil has a mine production of 86.9 tonnes, with a consumer demand for jewellery, bars, and coins of 17 tonnes, resulting in a difference in mine production compared to consumer demand that is five times higher. “Sustainable metal production is vital for environmental, economic, and social reasons. From an environmental standpoint, it helps conserve finite resources, reduces energy consumption, and minimises pollution, thereby mitigating climate change and protecting ecosystems.”

GOLD MARKET

According to the IBRAM report, gold production in Brazil generated a revenue of R$ 23 billion in 2020, which increased to R$ 27 billion in 2021. Consequently, gold extraction accounted for 8% of the total revenue of the mining sector in the country.
Regarding exports, figures rose from 5 billion dollars in 2020 to 5.3 billion dollars in 2021, representing an 8% increase. Brazil exported 98.9 tonnes of gold in 2020 and 103.9 tonnes in 2021, which corresponds to 9% of total exports.
The main buyers of Brazilian gold in 2021 were as follows: Canada, with 31.4%; Switzerland, with 24.5%; the United Kingdom, with 14.5%; India, with 11.5%; the United Arab Emirates, with 8.1%; Belgium, with 4.5%; Italy, with 3.4%; and Germany, with 1.1%.

PRADO MINING

Founded in June 1984, Prado Mining is a Brazilian company engaged in the extraction and export of raw gold. Headquartered in Goiânia-GO, the company operates in the rich regions of the Amazon and the Midwest of Brazil.
The company has a share capital of 12 million reais, enabling it to handle medium and large operations in the Brazilian and international markets.
Throughout its history, Prado Mining has stood out for its expertise in mining, coupled with a strong commitment to sustainability. The company continuously invests in technologies and practices that minimise the environmental and social impacts of its activities, seeking harmony between economic development and the preservation of natural resources.
With a promising vision for the future, Prado Mining aims to consolidate its position as one of the largest gold exporters in Brazil. To achieve this, the company focuses on expansion projects, innovation, and the development of its workforce.

SUSTAINABLE EXTRACTION

Prado Mining operates in the Tapajós region of the Amazon, extracting raw gold, diamonds, niobium, copper, and other minerals.
The gold exhibits high purity, with a minimum content of 88% and potentially reaching 97%, making it a highly valued product in the market. The company aims to serve both national and international markets, contributing to the Brazilian economy and the development of local communities.
With a promising initial production and a focus on sustainable practices, Prado Mining positions itself as a significant player in the gold mining sector in Brazil, with potential to expand its operations and strengthen its position in the global market.

NIOBIUM, DIAMONDS, COPPER…

In addition to gold, the company is expanding into other minerals, such as iron ore, niobium, copper, tantalite, and manganese.

LOCATION OF PRODUCTION

The Amazon houses one of the largest gold reserves in the world.
The biodiversity and vastness of the forests are not the only natural riches of the Amazon. Spanning approximately 170,000 square kilometres across the largest northern states, Tapajós is considered one of the largest gold reserves in the world. Exploration of the area began in 1958, with an initial estimated production of 600 tonnes.

COMPANY VALUATION

The valuation of PRADO Mining is calculated based on projected production over five years. A total production estimate for the five years is 1,800 kg of raw gold, valued at approximately €120 million. Our token is estimated to be worth €300 million to be integrated into the company’s share capital. The combined future value of the niobium, copper, and diamond areas exceeds €1 billion. Additionally, PRADO Mining has over 10 million tonnes of carbon credits available for trading, valued at €18 per tonne, totalling €180 million.
Thus, if we sum the estimated values, we arrive at a total of approximately €1.6 billion in assets. The valuation is set at 5% of the estimated total, based on international standards. The valuation of Prado Mining is €80 million for 2024.
